I thought of a thread just to talk about anything.
One limited to one subject but any subject. Whatever you want to talk about.

I have been playing many PC games lately.
-Civilization IV
-Fallout 1
and The Sims Medieval

Okay just three, I recently installed Neverwinter Nights 2 but it's really sluggish in controls. I'm having a hard time getting a character to walk where I want him to with the mouse.

Fallout 1 is fun and cozy, a nice departure from the extremely dark and gory Fallout 3" and "Fallout New Vegas"
I'm okay with those games but they're a little too dark sometimes.

Videogame series I like.

-Final Fantasy
-Pokemon
-Ratchet and Clank
-Mario
-Rune Factory
-Dragon Quest/Warrior

I understand Brian hates videogames and refused permission for a Redwall based one. (And I respect it, if someone made a videogame based on Redwall I would be furious because it was disrespectful to him)
But it would be cool if there was a MMORPG that was similar to Redwall.
(Traveling through woods fighting enemies, and choosing to be an animal. But to make it different from Redwall you could also be a Skunk, Raccoon, Mink, Wolf.)
That would just be awesome. But I don't play online games.

I personally don't think that redwall should ever have a video game, they will utterly F the series up, and the redwall books are just too good to let that happen to them.

As much as I honestly like the sound of some kind of Redwall game, I'm against it for the reasons that I don't think anybody could do it -right-, and it would detract from the literary element that Redwall thrives in.
I'm more than happy enough just letting Redwall carry on through writing and roleplaying than to see it made into a sub-par video game. I just don't think it'd work, and we don't need it anyways. It's better the way it is, I feel.

As far as games I've been playing lately, I recently relapsed back into playing the older pokemon games on my GBA... Also been playing a lot of Minecraft. I've taken a step back and stopped playing a lot of the more intense games I used to play... I also quit WoW a while ago.

I mainly just do online. I'm thinking of reverting back to video games on TV after my BDay/Easter. Though I mostly have unbeaten PS2 games and that mine is broken... -.-

ARRRGGHHHHH!!!! All the good upcoming 3DS games are "TBA: To be announced" meaning they don't have a release date yet.
Meaning it most likely won't be until may or June to see any of these games.

If Phoenix Wright VS Professor Layton is cancelled at the last second and only becomes available in Japan I will hate videogames forever.
(Though that won't happen, Japan knows there are too many Layton/Phoenix Wright fans over here. The only game they purposely refused to bring over are the mother games.
Except for one which is known here as Earthbound and they won't even re-release that. Despite millions of North Americans begging for the games. There's a reason for that long story.)
