Nevoso continued wiping with another cloth, and responded, "I know how that is. My whole family was rotten to the core. I'm an albino, so I was at the bottom of the pecking order. I didn't care much for pillaging, and instead studied. In secret. At night. Yeah... Now that I think back, I probably should have left them sooner. At least I got to make my twin Rogo peacful...er. I haven't seen him in a while. Then I went wandering, looking for Redwall, and here I am today."

Cou'reg heaved the other cloth out the window in the same manner as the first, turning back to give Nevoso a confused look as he picked up another cloth and went back to work. "Whas' an owl-bye-now?"

Silex nodded and listened in on the story.
"I used to be in a horde... I was actually..." Silex looked embarassed here, "...the leader of the horde... I married a female from the same horde, but she tried to kill me on night. She sent me tumbling down the river and over the waterfall, where I wandered into Mossflower County and have been wandering ever since..."
Silex paused, still sopping up the water on the floor.
"I've never actually told anyone that ever... I guess I just hated that part of myself, and still hate."
He sighed, still sopping up water, and moving to the window to throw the rag out of the window.
