Malum looked at Slynch, and sighed, smiling. She layed down, and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep. As she drifted through dreamland, that kiss keptt entering her mind. She smiled in her dream, and wished it could happen again.

The otterwife tramped into the Infirmary. Armen turned to her and blinked, "All of the patients are asleep." He turned to Slynch and narrowed his eyes, "...I think." The weasel squirmed.
"Very good, very good." She sighed, and turned to a white mouse tossing and turning in her bed, "Sister Coraline..."
"She doesn't look like it, but she's doing very well." Brother Armen stated, "Cora is in shock. She knows she killed a beast and...well, you know..." Armen sighed, "She keeps mumbling 'Drak' and..."
The otterwife glared at him, "Don't even mention his name!!" She exclaimed. She was so loud that Sister Coraline sat up, her eyes wide with shock.
They stared at each for a moment, then Coraline whispered, "Behead..." And fell back onto the bed, mumbling, tossing, and turning in her sleep.
Armen glared at her, "Don't be so loud!" He hissed softly.
"Sorry." She mumbled. She glanced at Foremole, "Has Rootarkin made any progress...?" Armen shook his head. The otterwife stared at Foremole Rootarkin with sad eyes, "...May it only be of the short time-span between now and the time he was ki-I mean attacked." The otterwife sighed, and went to Sister Cora's side. She patted the mousemaids head, covered in persperation from the nightmares of beheaded otters and bloody swords. The otterwife glared at her hand in disgust and wiped it with a cloth. She applied it liberally to Coras forehead, cheeks, and paws, "Oh, and we'll be expecting a visit from Abbess Nutmeg soon, by the way."

Abbess Nutmeg walked into the room, and gave a smile.
"I heard my name, do you need my assistance?" She asked, as she walked over to Sister Coraline.
She tutted, and petted Coraline's head, frowning.
"May Martin have known what he was doing with this one..." She said softly.

The otterwife and Brother Armen frowned at Cora, before the otter went to business. She grabbed Slynch none to gently by the ear, dragging him out of bed, "Aye, we do, Abbess Nutmeg!"
Slynch winced, "Goodness! Is it some kind of custom for you Redwallers to wake up poor beasts by doing them harm!?" The weasel grumbled.
She snorted and shoved him in-front of the Abbess, releasing his ear as she did so, "This'un..." The otterwife began, "For some idiotic reason, decided it would be fun if he began to amek a ruckus in the Infirmary. First, this demon here came scurrying out of the Infirmary, cuasing panic between us Helpers. And then when Armen tried to bring some sense to this young fool, the rogue threw the poor Brother right at us!" The otterwife snorted.
Slynch rubbed his ear sulkily, "I didn't do it becuase it was fun. I was chasing a mouse."
The otter snorted, "Nonsense! I didn't see a mouse!"
The weasel growled, "Maybe becuase you weren't looking!"
She raised her paw to strike him, but then lowered it down. The otterwife looked at the Mother Abbess hopefully, "Please say yer gonna punish this lil' fiend..."

Abbess Nutmeg shushed her, and turned to Slynch.
"A mouse you say? And what did this mouse look like?" She asked.
Malum blinked as Slynch was pulled out of bed, and watched the show sleepily.

Slynch shrugged, "I dunno...He had dark fur, wore an habit...He looked pretty much like a regular Abbeydweller only he had a sword." The weasel shrugged.
The otterwife snorted, "I don't see what that question haas anything to do with this, Abbess."

Abbess Nutmeg looked at the otterwife and again shushed her.
"You say he had a sword... Well, was there anything special about it?" She asked.

Slynch frowned deeply and scratched the back of his neck, "Well...It looked kind of like the one that hamster had...Your Abbey Champion...Er, Sir Chewy, was it?" The weasel gasped, "Oh, how could I forget about Chewy! He helped us with the battle against Awoone."
He slapped his forehead, and let it flop to the side. Meanwhile, the otterwife beside him was getting anxious, "Er, er, Abbess Nutmeg, er...Don't you think you should do something about this here weasels actions!?" She looked at her pleadingly.

The otterwife gasped, "Wha-What!? B-But...he...he..." Slynch smirked at her. She glared at the weasel, "...Very well, Mother Abbess..."
Suddenly, Foremole Rootarkin started to moan. The otter turned around and blinked, "He must be waking up..." She muttered, and padded off to see if Foremole needed any of her assistance.
