Alright this is to continue talking about superheroes so the other thread can go back to it's purpose of funny quotes.
I admit, I love everything to do with Batman.
(He is just... COOL! I mean.... he can do anything.
-Macgiver... nope!
-Kim Possible... Not even close...
As far as superpowerless heroes go he is the ultimate.
Is tough, dark, strikes fear into the hearts of criminals and is afraid of nothing.
(If he can overcome what the scarecrow throws at him then it is true)
I admit though I have never read a Batman comic.
(I am a movie/TV guy I know the comics are awesome [Some horrible] but I never really was a comic fan because of the whole collecting and collecting...finding the right ones... the fact his adventures will never end so I'd end up with mountains of comics all over if I'm lucky enough to get all of them.
I'd rather watch a real life Batman or a cartoon.
But I do know I'm missing out. (But I have done research and know of quite a few comic plots)
(I'm going to give my talk about as many as I can think of)
Anyway, I enjoy other heroes as well like Spider-man, Superman (Though being the most clichéd one) X-men (I found confusing at times but what action I did get out of it was awesome)
I'm not interested in the Flash or the Hulk (Sorry) they just don't interest me.
The green lantern has the most confusing storylines I've ever seen but it interests me.
(Probably because one of the green lantern members is a talking alien squirrel/chipmunk hybrid, that is just cool!)
There is a Green Lantern movie coming out probably around next year and I have a horrible feeling he's going to be the comic relief. (Please no!!!)
Lets see... other heroes I recognize and like.
-Fantastic four is okay.
-I don't know anything about Silver Surfer
-Aquaman: This is interesting because he is considered the wimpiest superhero in existence.
Apparently DC wanted to change that image so when the Animated Series "Justice League"
came out they gave him a complete makeover.
-Tough as nails
-Long hair
-Earrings
-A harpoon grafted onto his arm.
.....Wow.... they were desperate.
But either way I don't care about Aquaman he's still boring.
Anyway who else...
I like Spiderman, he is pretty cool.
Not in the really old cartoon... that was lame compared to him today. (But good for it's time being a classic)
I especially like the new show "The Spectacular spider-man" That was sweet! And the on-going plot through-out the whole show has a really awesome twist in the last episode. I mean one of the best plot twists I've ever seen in Marvel Comics.
-There are literally hundreds of superheroes out there. I only mentioned the more famous ones. (Forgetting Wonder Woman! DOH!!!!)
Do you know what the funny thing though about all this is...
I'm not even into superheroes that much.
I enjoy them but not obsessed. I am just speaking my mind of what I learned over the years. (And I just happened to pick up a lot about them)
And more obscure heroes like Blue Beetle, Wildcat and Black Canary making cameos in shows like "Justice League unlimited" and "Batman the brave and the bold" made me curious and I just looked them up on Wikipedia.
