Hemlock giggled, "Stooooopid foxdog!!" She cackled, and then Vihata stopped her. Hemlock grimaced and rolled up the whip grudgingly.
Cadwen was asked to make first watch, "No fair!" The wildcat protested, "She already watched ovah teh' foxdog! Oi wanna keep 'ittin' 'im!" Hemlock remembered her vision, and took a step back, "Oi mean...if'n it's alroight wit ye, yer 'Ighness..." She murmered, looking down with a shame-face.

Vihata looked at Hemlock in suprise, byt then caught herself, severly watching her.
"You may torture him all you want... But remember! You are NOT allowed to kill him, if he is killed or maimed, then you will have to pay!" She said, her eyebrows raising. "Fine, you may take first watch..." She said, putting her arm around Cadwen, and walking out casuaally, leaving Squidge and Hemlock alone.
Squidge shook violently, as he saw Vihata and Cadwen leave him alone with Hemlock. He watched her carefully, shivering in fear and coldness. With a sigh, his head drooped low, and he prayed she wouldn't be too hard on him.

Upon hearing she was going to get first watch, Cadwen's ears went up, almost cheerfully -- unusual for her -- but they went back down as Hemlock promptly took that from her.
She comforted herself knowing she'd get the fox later. After all, they were sharing, weren't they? She allowed herself to be led away.
"Have fun," she told Hemlock over her shoulder, directing the comment at Squidge. "I'll take the second watch, Lady."

Hemlock smiled at Cadwen mischeviously, "Heehee! 'Ello, foxdog! Art ye ready fer some more fun!? Heh heh heh!!"
WHIP! CRACK! Hemlock was upon Squidge right after her superior and Cadwen had left. She cackled like a madbeast, her luaghter almost muting out the noises of the torture device.

"Now now... Let's NOT have fun, shall we?" He asked, almost begging.
Squidge winced as the whip hit him, and he whimpered. The whips raced across his body like fire, and he wished he could just lay down and die. But he didn't and the whips kept coming, over and over, all over his body. He let a sob escape his lips, and tried to be strong. Suddenly, a whimper escaped him, followed closely by a sob.
NO! I can't break now! HGe thought.

Cadwen ran a paw along her ears, smoothing the long, light fur, and sighed contentedly. The sound of Hemlock, Squidge, and a whip were music to the sadistic hare's ears, and she slowed her pace a little by way of getting to hear the echoes of torture a little longer.
"Is it not beautiful, my Lady?" she murmured. "The sound of power. True power."

Vihata smiled.
"Yes, music to my ears..." She said, also slowing down. "If only he would scream...."

Cadwen had no doubt he would.
"She will break him soon," she assured her queen. "And he will scream a thousand times for death before he is granted anything of the sort. Ah, my Queen," she sighed, stopping and looking into Vihata's face. "Ye truly are the true ruler, strong and cunning. How long, milady? How long must we suffer under that little prissy's rule?"
[[Cadwen is more like Vihata's lackey than one of her captains. Dx Oh, well.]]

Vihata smiled evily.
"I will very much enjoy his pleas for death. And when he does beg, you may take care of him." She said, with a glint in her eye, knowing how much Cadwen loved killing and eating others. "And, when he begs for death, you may give it to him anyway you please, though I would love it to be slowly."
As for Cadwen's next question, Vihata fowned.
"Soon, very very soon."

Giving Squidge's eventual demise to Cadwen was like handing a large bag of toffee apples and candied chestnuts to a starving dibbun. She bared her teeth in a cold leer, utterly thrilled.
"Thank you," she said, demure and loyal to her wicked ruler. "I can make his death last for eight days, Lady." Her record was seven; she was pretty sure she could drag Squidge out to eight, though.
Vihata's second statement derailed her slightly. How she hated waiting!
